As a result of the continued development of Nottinghamshire Women's Aid Limited we are looking to recruit the following posts across Bassetlaw, Mansfield and Newark & Sherwood:


Intervention & Recovery Services Coordinator

21 Hours per week
£27,052- £28,636 per annum, pro rata for part time

The successful candidate will have at least two years experience of management and Project development. Based at the Farr Centre you will be responsible for managing the IRIS project, Medium Risk intervention workers and the women’s counselling service including staff supervision and appraisal. A full driving licence and use of a car is essential. It is a requirement of this role for co-ordinators to be on call. (rota basis)

2 x Female Refuge Support Workers

Post One – 24 hours per week based at Mansfield, flexible to cover the needs of both refuges
Post Two – 28 hours per week based at Bassetlaw, flexible to cover the needs of both refuges
£22,221 per annum, pro rata for part time

The successful person will have an understanding of the effects of domestic abuse on women, young people and children and be committed to working in a non-discriminatory manner. You will be self motivated, flexible and able to work under pressure. You must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. The ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information is essential as is experience of working with women, young people and children in a support setting. You will be required to work flexibly, including evening and weekend working and out of hours on a rota basis. A full driving licence and use of a car is essential.

IT & Communication Worker

21 Hours per week
£19,621 per annum, pro rata for part time

Based at the Farr Centre, you will be responsible for providing day to day IT support to the organisation. The role is very varied and will include basic IT troubleshooting, monitoring and data evaluation of our CMS, social media marketing and the communication and promotion of Nottinghamshire Women’s Aid activities and events. You will have excellent IT skills, knowledge of troubleshooting Windows OS and the ability to learn quickly ‘on the job’.

Supply/Bank Female crèche workers

Hours: as and when required.
Rate of pay: £7 – £8 per hour depending on qualification.

Nottinghamshire Women’s Aid are looking to recruit female supply/bank crèche workers for our Worksop Centre, NVQ Level 3 or 2 qualified.

Based at the Farr Centre Crèche you will work in a small team providing childcare for women attending the Centre. You must have experience of working with children from 0-8 years, knowledge of child protection and be able to work flexible hours.
